Moonshine Over America Tour

Friday, Oct. 20; Somewhere in the city

The biggest -- and, we're thinking, the best -- warehouse party of the year takes place Friday, Oct. 20, somewhere in the city. The Moonshine Over America Tour, featuring several artists on the stellar Moonshine Records imprint, is being welcomed to St. Louis by the twin towers of the St. Louis beat scene, promoters Boogie Knights and That Girl. Those names alone are enough to ensure that the thing will go down without a hitch; their past parties have always been professionally operated and completely legal.

Featured spinners include some of the biggies on Moonshine: Carl Cox, who's returning on the one-year anniversary of his last appearance in town (at Cheetah), spins tight, deep house; Philly's Dieselboy is considered one of America's best jungle DJs; Ireland's DJ Dara also spins drum & bass; D:Fuse offers trance and moody house; Baltimore hard-house master Charles Feelgood spins on the eve of his Moonshine debut's release; and LA's Cirrus offers a live PA performance. Also featuring some of this city's best DJs -- including Jeff Feller, B-Wise, Needles, Hypo, Danskii and Bodaleg -- this party, which begins at 10 p.m. and runs all night long, should be incredible. Rumors has it that this will be one of the biggest warehouse parties St. Louis has ever seen, so don't miss it. The location is being kept secret until the day of the event; for information, call 314-567-2041 or visit www.boogieknights.net.
