Ha Ha Tonka, "Caney Mountain" from Bloodshot Records on Vimeo.

When: Saturday, September 20, at Lucas School House Playing With: Backyard Tire Fire Sounds Like: "Springfield, Missouri's Ha Ha Tonka (née Amsterband) came into its own on last year's Buckle in the Bible Belt. Released on Bloodshot Records, Belt was a gospel-twang revelation that resembled a corn-fed Kings of Leon. Songs like "Bully in the Pulpit" and "Caney Mountain" featured spitfire honky-tonk licks and soul-drenched vocals from Brian Roberts, who sounds like Eddie Vedder with a mainstream-country tickle in his throat."
