In Alexandria, Virginia, there is a historic building called Gadsby's Tavern Museum. True, cities don't typically dedicate museums to bars -- but George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and James Madison drank, danced and did who knows what all else on these particular premises. The idea for the Declaration of Independence could have conceivably sprang forth from within one of those very toilet stalls. Outhouses. Whatever. But also -- and very factually -- springing forth from Alexandria are the modern-day minutemen otherwise known as
Over It.
The Lobster Records foursome first joined forces in 1998, but with 2002's
