Well, round two between Lady Gaga and the Westboro Baptist Church has come and gone. For the most part, it was anticlimactic: Only about six members of the Phelps clan showed up, and most of Gaga's fans ignored them.
Additionally, the police did an excellent job partitioning the two groups, with each side having its own corner of 14th Street at Clark, across the street from the main entrance of the Scottrade Center. That severely limited interaction between the two and stifled any real contentiousness.
However, the protest had its moments and photographer Erin Kinsella was there to capture it all.
