Wu-Tang Clan veteran Raekwon has recently managed a career renaissance. He created a classic on his first solo outing (1995's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...), but seemed at a loss to match its dense lyrical scenarios and dark, paranoid undertone. The breakthrough came in 2009, when the Chef finally released his long-promised Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt. II to rapturous reviews. He's since teamed with his Wu brethren for two solid efforts, 2010's Wu-Massacre and this year's Shaolin v. Wu-Tang. Neither featured Wu abbot RZA, with whom Raekwon has had bad blood since the last full-fledged Wu-Tang production, 8 Diagrams. Still, Raekwon is proving he knew what he was talking about in 1993 when he said, "Brothers approach and half step but ain't heard half of it yet."
