It hasn't exactly been the best few days for St. Louis-associated bands on tour. First, our blog colleagues at Seattle alt-weekly the Stranger tipped us that local indie-spazz heroes So Many Dynamos had their gear ganked in Seattle. According to the posting by staffer Megan Seling, anyone who "has any information about any of these items, contact Alicia at [email protected]," the Paradox being the venue where the band played last Thursday. So Many Dynamos can also be contacted via MySpace.

Then, a few hours ago, synth-happy danceniks Men, Women and Children -- featuring St. Louisian Nick Conceller on keyboards -- sent out the following MySpace missive:

hello. to anyone that lives in or around detroit, we just had our van and trailer stolen. Pretty much our whole entire lives were in there.
