Temperatures dropped drastically earlier this week, and during our morning walk to the office (not to mention the subsequent walk back to our cars when it's already dark outside), we can't quite feel our toes. Luckily, plenty of opportunities to resuscitate those little piggies via dancing exist over the next few days. Check out album release shows from Foxing, Ellen the Felon and A Pirate Signal, or get a double dose of soul with Lady at 2720 and KDHX's Marvin Gaye tribute at Off Broadway. Audra McDonald @ The Sheldon 8 p.m. | $50-$150 Audra McDonald, star of stage and screen with five Tony awards under her belt, can also belt out a hell of a tune, thanks to her classical training and operatic chops. (DH)

Brother Gruesome w/ Little Big Bangs, Brian Cagle @ CBGB 9 p.m. | $5 Little Big Bangs return home from mini-tour of the Midwest and bring two acts from Oklahoma City along for the ride. Brother Gruesome, a two-piece grunge outfit, has a new 12". Check it out on Bandcamp. (MS)

Ellen the Felon CD Release w/ Kid Scientist, Fire Dog, The Chill Dawgs @ St. Louis Skatium 9 p.m. | $10 Booze, rollerskates and plenty of surprises await at Ellen the Felon's debut album release party.Ten bones buys your way in as well as a copy of Bang Bang Bang.
