Twangfest 16 has come and gone in a blurry four nights of expert bands ranging from quiet folk to raging rock. What we saw in person was excellent and the evidence suggests the rest was that way, too. And now it's time for the annual Twangfest auction, where KDHX (88.1 FM) puts up a mess of records, posters and assorted rare and autographed collectables to raise money for the non-profit station.
A few of the bigger items are already spoken for, including a Son Volt Trace LP, but there's plenty left, including: A Lupe Fiasco skateboard, signed records from the likes of Kelly Hogan, Oberhofer, Real Estate and Meat Puppets, posters from previous Twangfests and a few by Art Chantry.

100% of the proceeds from everything go directly to KDHX -- some items will close in the next couple hours; the whole thing ends on June 18. If you are reading this blog pretty much ever, you can probably knock out gift shopping up to and partly including Christmas, etc. right here.
