Dimmu Borgir might want to crash at your place. Cool?

After the flurry of show announcements in the past few weeks, St. Louis seems to have hit a critical mass for concerts. Still, a few noteworthy shows have trickled in, and, damn it all, we're here to share them with you:

Fractured, slow-core folkies Castanets will appear with Montreal pop saboteurs Shapes and Sizes on Wednesday, March 21, at Off Broadway. Opening the show will the ubiquitous Gentleman Auction House.

The Taylor Hicks shows at the Bottleneck Blues Bar (Wednesday and Thursday, March 21 and 22) sold out faster than you can say "Just for Men hair coloring." If you still need a fix of American Idol-sanctioned pop-rock, Daughtry (better known as former Idol contestant Chris Daughtry) will perform at the Bottleneck on Wednesday, April 18.

Mardi Gras is over as of last call tonight, but the boogie-woogie sound of New Orleans R&B marches on when Dr. John plays the Argosy Casino on Saturday, March 31.

Norwegian black metal heavyweights Dimmu Borgir will pummel the crowds at Pop's on Wednesday, May 23. The band will be touring in support of its upcoming album In Sorte Diaboli, which is Latin for "I worship Satan with the whole of my little black heart."
