Didn't get tickets for the sold-out Rolling Stones gig at the Savvis Center? Not to worry: You can still get your Mick and Keith fix this week in a swankier, more intimate setting, even as Stones tour saxophonist Tim Ries presents his Rolling Stones Project at Finale. Ries' album of the same name was released in August 2005 and recorded with a little help from Miles Davis, Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, Charlie Watts, Ron Wood and Keith Richards; the disc features jazzed-up renditions of "Satisfaction," "Street Fighting Man," "Wild Horses," "Waiting on a Friend," "Paint It Black," "Ruby Tuesday," "Gimme Shelter" and more. Ries and his six-piece band may not strut about like roosters on osteoporosis meds but then again, they don't charge upward of $160 for tickets either.
