Tina Turner Not In St. Louis' Cards

Despite what you may have heard, I confirmed today that Tina Turner will definitely *not* headline a concert here this summer during Major League Baseball's All-Star Game.

I'd heard some chatter downtown about how swell it'd be for Turner to return to her Gateway City during the swinging-bats extravaganza, but a source-in-the-know swears it's not in the cards.

Apparently MLB is finalizing plans for a concert downtown, but there's no official announcement yet. (For last year's game in New York City, Bon Jovi played a free concert in Central Park.)
