Thanks for playing, St. Louis! Wilco's October show at the Peabody is now officially sold out. After yesterday's pre-sale and Wednesday's fan-club pre-pre-sale, the general on-sale opened this morning at 11 a.m. At 11:25 a.m., the 3,000-capacity venue was sold out.
The quick turn-around was not a result of depleted supply -- the majority of tickets were still available this morning after both pre-sales.
Still, 25 minutes is enough for a fighting chance. The Pageant reminds us that Wilco's trio of shows there in 2008 -- amounting to 6,000 total tickets -- sold out in ten minutes.
So that's double the tickets in half the time. But we weren't in the fracas this morning: You were. Share with us your stories of success or failure in the comments.
