Wild Nothing has just been announced as a late addition to the LouFest lineup. The pop band -- and musical moniker of Brooklyn's Jack Tatum -- joins Girl Talk, the Flaming Lips, Phantogram, Dinosaur Jr., Son Volt and more on the bill for the annual fest in Forest Park. This year's installment is coming right up on August 25 and 26. Tickets are $70 for a two-day pass or $40 for either individual day and on sale now.
Wild Nothing replaces We Are Scientists, which cancelled a handful of upcoming shows including LouFest due to medical issues for singer Keith Murray.
This is a more than fair swap. Wild Nothing will release its sophomore album Nocturne the Tuesday after LouFest. The band's debut Gemini earned fairly rapturous reviews back in 2010.
