In this show preview of the band's 2010 appearance at Pop's, RFT Music writer Scott Heisel had this to say:
Of all the bands currently operating within the popcore scene, A Day to Remember is unarguably -- and even sort of inexplicably -- the biggest. (Pop-punk + hardcore = popcore -- subgenre ed.) Even things that turn into stumbling blocks for other bands -- releasing a cheesy cover of a massive pop song or having a guitarist (and main songwriter) quit in the middle of an album cycle -- haven't slowed down ADTR one bit. The Ocala, Florida, quintet's new album, What Separates Me From You, is due in stores later this month -- and given the massive buzz surrounding it, what soon might be separating you from the band is a twenty-foot barricade followed by a thousand or so concert attendees. What we're trying to say is these dudes are only going to get bigger -- and fast -- so see ADTR now before the band is playing hockey arenas.
While the Pageant certainly ain't a hockey arena, it's not Pop's either. Check out the video for "All I Want" below.
