Would You Pay $40 for a Kurt Cobain Sushi Combo?

The fine folks at Blue Ocean Sushi just dropped by with a menu folded into the shape of a collared shirt (see above). Down the right side there, you can see celebrity names; they continue on the back and, as it turns out, correspond to various sushi combo platters. Chuck Berry costs you $12 and you get two regular rolls. Frank Sinatra is two special rolls for $14. And the granddaddy of them all: Kurt Cobain -- $40 for four special rolls and ten nigiri. But...why?

We have to assume it means nothing at all, but still: What a strange choice. Perhaps because Cobain was from the Pacific Northwest, where fish are a more prominent part of the regional diet. Or maybe the amount of sushi you get corresponds with how talented the combo's namesake is/was. That would certainly explain why you only get one regular roll and three nigiri with Angelina Jolie. Are we missing something here?
