Left Arm CD release show at the Stagger Inn, Saturday, November 10

So we didn't get the new Left Arm CD in time to get anything in the paper about its CD release show this weekend -- through no fault of the band or us! -- but I figured I'd blog about it anyway. The CD is called Dissastisoul, and on my first, quick listen it's a frantic collection of screaming punk (of the ca. 1977, Dead Kennedys and garage varieties) that'll leave skidmarks as it speeds through your CD player. I dig it.

Left Arm's release party also features the fantastic 75s and Pat Boone's Farm (the latter of which I know nothing about). Oh, and by an email I just received, it's the last show featuring Joe Stumble, of the excellent Last Days of Man on Earth blog.

The details: Saturday, November 10 Stagger Inn, Edwardsville Show starts at 9:30ish $3, 21+ only

Here are two MP3s from the album (if anyone in the band doesn't want me to link, just holla!). Right-click to download.
