The Gramophone: St. Louis' Newest Venue

Posted By on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 5:55 PM

Just got this MySpace bulletin. Expect more details, including an interview, ASAP here on A to Z. (Roo, for the record, is involved with local label F5 Records.)

We are pleased to announce that construction is underway for the newest addition to St. Louis' live music scene. Scheduled to open in March 2008, the Gramophone will be located at 4243 Manchester Ave., in the popular Grove neighborhood. We will feature live music of rotating genres several nights per week, along with late-night DJ spins.

The Gramophone will be an artist-focused venue with a private musician's lounge and a state-of-the-art sound system. Our flexible floorplan can accommodate up to 225 guests for a lively standing room only show or can be transformed into a more intimate setting for a seated performance.

We will be opening in March 2008, and are currently accepting booking information from bands that are located in the St. Louis area or that tour through the Midwest. Please send EPKs or tour package summaries to [email protected], or email or message us on Myspace for our temporary snail mail address.
