Looking for something to do Labor Day Weekend that's a bit closer to home? Check out the first annual East Loop Block Party, which takes place on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31. Besides games, live art, sidewalk sales, knitting lessons (!) and other fun activities, the two-day fest will feature local bands playing on an outdoor stage under the Pageant's marquee. Neat!
