The Bureau Playing Last Show on Saturday, October 11 at Bluebird

Posted By on Tue, Oct 7, 2008 at 11:34 AM

Dark-wave outfit the Bureau is playing its last show on Saturday, October 11, opening for A Place to Bury Strangers. From a MySpace bulletin, penned by Mike Cracchiolo.

This Saturday, Natalie, Paul, Ryan and I will be playing what is likely the last Bureau show ever. There's been a lot of lineup changes over the years but since Bobby left it has really become an entirely new band. Due to various changes in our personal lives as well as a need to evaluate the creative direction of the band we have decided that now is a good time for an indefinite hiatus.

We will be back in some form or another but it won't be The Bureau anymore. We thought about scheduling some big fancy "last show" thing but I'd rather put my efforts into a first show for a new band. So we're gonna play this Saturday with the awesome A Place To Bury Strangers and we'll see what happens after that.

If you're interested here are the details:

Saturday, Oct. 11th @ The Bluebird *A Place To Bury Strangers *The Sian Alice Group *The Bureau *Troubadour Dali

Doors: 8:00 show $12 + $3 minor surcharge/ All ages

We go on around 9:30 so get there early.
