Parry Gripp of Nerf Herder Makes Internet Earworms on YouTube

Posted By on Wed, Dec 17, 2008 at 2:12 PM

I'm always a little late to the Internet meme game, but this one is worth the wait, trust me. What happens when a pop-punk minor star (in this case, Nerf Herder's Parry Gripp) stumbles upon an idea to write songs for YouTube viral videos? Why, some of the most ridiculous earworms you'll ever hear. Don't say I didn't warn you. Gripp is also an ad-jingle writer, which might explain why the songs just won't. leave. your. head.

"Shopping Penguin"

or this one:

"Boogie Boogie Hedgehog"

Or how about...

HAMSTER MANIA.

Or that darn cat flushing a toilet!

And then, of course, here's the eternal question: "Do You Like Waffles?"
