Tonight! The Hooten Hallars CD Release Show at Off Broadway

Posted By on Thu, Feb 26, 2009 at 9:01 AM

Got word of this too late for print (at least this week), but newish duo the Hooten Hallars -- which features John Randall of Johnny O and the Jerks fame and drummer Andy Rehm, who plays standing up -- is celebrating the release of The Epic Battle of Good and Evil with a show tonight at Off Broadway. Big Muddy labelhead Chris Baricevic describes the duo as "a two-piece drum and guitar spaced out hellbilly Jerry Lee on crack rock and roll band."  That's a mouthful. Check out what he means below with an MP3. The show tonight is free, and also features the Rum Drum Ramblers and Alley Ghosts.
