Buffet Libre DJs Present: Rewind Volume 2, featuring XTC, Bunnymen, Tears for Fears covers

Posted By on Mon, Apr 13, 2009 at 2:53 PM

I've been sitting on this blogpost for a few months now, but figured that this gloomy weather needed a pick-me-up. My Portuguese pals the Buffet Libre DJs released a second volume of its retro cover collection earlier this year, and the lot is as electro-tastic and cheerfully Technicolor as volume one. Check out some of these new downloads below. And while you're at it, check out their new blog, which contains a ton of links to free music -- including "Hit! 2" (30 Summers in 60 Minutes), which has a ton of jams to conjure the days when the sun is actually out.

MP3: Canadians featuring Cherielynn Westrich, "Neverending Story" (Limahl/Giorgio Moroder)

MP3: Project Jenny Project Jan, "Self Control" (Laura Branigan)

MP3: Headlights, "Making Plans for Nigel" (XTC)

MP3: Robbers on High Street, "Shout to the Top!" (Style Council)

MP3: Hexes & Ohs, "Head Over Heels" (Tears for Fears)

MP3: The Picture, "Bring on the Dancing Horses" (Echo & the Bunnymen)

MP3: Electric Valentine vs. Ultraviolet Sound, "2 Of Hearts" (Stacey Q)

MP3: We Have Band, "West End Girls" (Pet Shop Boys)
