Bands: St. Louis Showcase Is Looking for Your MP3s!

Posted By on Fri, Aug 14, 2009 at 12:15 PM

Singer-songwriter Sheila Shahpari (say that five times fast) wrote in to tell us about a charity event she's helping organize: The St. Louis Showcase, which takes place next Friday, August 21, at Mad Art Gallery. The event will benefit LifeFeed, Jazz St. Louis, and Play It Forward -- and to help add local flavor, Shahpari says they're looking for local band MP3s for the event. Those interested in participating can email them to Performers at the event include Shahpari, Thom Donovan and the Northwoods. As an added bonus, A-B is donating beer and silent auction items include tickets to the Sheldon and St. Louis symphony members willing to donate lessons. The event runs from 8 p.m. to midnight.
