"U2" Is Doing a Haiti Benefit This Weekend in St. Louis

Well, in reality, that would be Elevation, which bills itself as "The Greatest U2 Tribute Band on the Planet." The band is bringing its "Fortune Favors the Bold" Midwest tour to (where else?) The Dubliner on Friday night, January 29. Instead of charging a cover, the venue is asking attendees to donate $5 or $10 to Hands Together, a nonprofit "devoted to educating, inspiring and encouraging people to understand the importance of responding to the needs of the poor and disadvantaged."

To say that Elevation does U2 proud is an understatement. Here's the underrated Pop gem "Gone."
