Last time we gave some shine to underground East St. Louis duo Scripts 'N Screwz, it was busy pimping out its video for "Brick" for a contest on MTV U.

The weather has changed since then, but the group's hustle hasn't. It has a new single, a Valentines Day-themed beat mixtape and a show tomorrow night at A-B's on Manchester.

The fresh joint (click here to download) debuted last week. It's called "On 10" and it's an ode to fresh kicks and high fashion. Lyrically it's the standard hip-hop braggadocio, but the self-produced beat is a burner -- with a fuzzed-out hot and heavy bass synthesizer and more cowbell than a Will Ferrell skit.

The mixtape, dubbed iHeartBeats, is a compilation of the same style beats. Download it and peep the flyer for the group's gig after the jump...
Here's the download link for the mixtape.

We caught up with Screwz yesterday afternoon and he unveiled a few moves he and his partner are making in the next few months, including a video for "On 10," solo projects in March and April, and a short film called The Hunger with a self-produced EP of the same name serving as the soundtrack.

Catch them perfrom live tomorrow:
