Clownvis Presley is Really, Actually Going to be on America's Got Talent This Week -- Seriously -- Just Before a Rare Hometown Show

Earlier this month, we told you about Clownvis Presley's upcoming appearance on America's Got Talent. We, along with hundreds of other fans and friends of Clownvis, were confused as to when exactly his audition would be airing.

Well, patient St. Louisans, your wait is nearly over. The Chicago auditions will be airing this Wednesday, June 30, at 8 p.m., and unless there's some sort of awful unforeseen circumstance (such as the producers of the show deciding to break our collective hearts) Clownvis should be present amongst the fabulous freak show.

If you didn't tune in for the season premiere, be forewarned that the the outlook is not so good. Some pretty blatant previews were given, and it's safe to assume that Clownvis was not very well-received by the judges. Honestly though, a cruel rejection on a televised talent show is almost always more entertaining than approval, especially when you're a character of Clownvis' spirits.

Celebrate with the celebrity this weekend at a July 4 rock show/barbecue at Atomic Cowboy, which starts at 5 p.m. DJ Al Swacker, the Hooten Hallers and Kentucky Knife Fight will play. The barbecue will include roasting an entire pig; there will also be a dunk tank and a wet wifebeater contest. At 10 p.m., Clownvis and friends will play at the Fox Hole. The show's $10, or $5 after 9 p.m. (for Clownvis show only).
