2. Funk Fest 5

3.  Litterthugz at London Calling

4. Wolf Eyes

For $5, you can head down to Apop Records on Cherokee this Saturday at 8 p.m. and check out a live show from Michigan Wolf Eyes. See more on Wolf Eyes.

5. Bunnygrunt at Schlafly Bottleworks

Actually, the full title of this event should read Bunnygrunt featuring The Tambourine Artistry Of Liz Wolfson & Her Amazing World of Rhythm, but there's not enough room for that. The event runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m. this Saturday. Oh, and in addition to the music, food and beer, you'll also get a puppet show.

6. Wavves

Check out Wavves this Saturday at the Billiken Club at Saint Louis University. The show starts at 9 p.m. The Price? Free. You can't beat that.

7. An Under Cover Weekend

Head over to the Firebird for this annual Saint Louis concert series featuring original local bands, not cover bands, performing secret tribute sets at The Firebird. Friday night's lineup includes Troubadour Dali playing Queens of The Stone Age, The Blind Eyes playing Fleetwood Mac, Sleepy Kitty as Pavement and Union Tree Review playing The Postal Service.

On Saturday, concertgoers can look forward to The Orbz performing Iggy and The Stooges, Beth Bombara and Cassie Morgan performing as The Breeders, Tenement Ruth performing Loretta Lynn, and more. Tickets for each night run $10. For more info and the full lineup, check out An Under Cover Weekend.

8. Animal Empty

Animal Empty, Run Run Run and the Neverhawks will be performing this Sunday at Off Broadway. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the music is slated to begin at 8:00 p.m. If you're 21 or older, tickets will only cost you $8. For those of you under the drinking age, you'll have to shell out $11; that's what you get for not being able to run up a beer tab.

9. Hayes Carll

One of this week's critic's pick's is Hayes Carll at Blueberry Hill. The singer-songwriter from The Woodlands, Texas plays tonight at 9 pm. Tickets are only $12. For more, check out the RFT's event info on Carll.

10. The Protomen

Tonight at 9:00 p.m., head over to 2720 Cherokee for an evening with The Protomen. Tickets will cost you $10. With a stage presence compared to Daft Punk, this Mega Man-inspired rock band is sure to be a sight to see.
