The Firebird Is Going Non-Smoking as of October 1

Posted By on Wed, Sep 29, 2010 at 8:00 AM

Yesterday, the Firebird announced that as of October 1, it's going non-smoking. As they put it, it's "not exactly breaking news" -- which is true, considering most shows I've been to there in recent weeks have asked smokers to go outside, and local music venues such as the Old Rock House and the Pageant have gone non-smoking in recent months. The question now is: Where can you smoke and see live music at the same time? Cicero's? Halo Bar?
