Video: The Aquabats' Child Crowd-Surfers at the Pageant Make TMZ

Posted By on Tue, Nov 16, 2010 at 8:00 AM

If you happened to be perusing the gossip site TMZ yesterday -- don't lie, you know you read it -- you may have seen footage of a kid being thrown into the crowd at an Aquabats show. This happened to take place during the Aquabats' set at the Pageant on Sunday, November 14. Vocalist Christian Jacobs brought several boys onstage, picked them up -- with the blessing of their parents, mind you; as the video below shows, he made sure to ask permission first -- and tossed 'em into the crowd, baptizing them in the way of punk and ska. See more for yourself, starting at around 5:30.
