Ted Leo Doing a Solo Show at Off Broadway

Posted By on Mon, Dec 6, 2010 at 4:55 PM

Ted Leo hasn't been to St. Louis in...well, a very long time. (I believe his last full-band show at the Gargoyle was canceled at the last minute, too. Never blog at 5 p.m. on Monday after an already long day.) But that's changing as of February 2: He'll be doing a solo show at Off Broadway at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of show. While Leo's full-band attack is unparalleled, giving him a stage and a guitar should provoke lots of storytelling -- and if there's another thing he does well, it's telling yarns. Here's Leo from October's Matador 21 celebration covering Liz Phair's "Fuck and Run."
