The 2011 RFT Music Awards Ballot is Now Live: Go Vote For Your Favorite St. Louis Music!

Posted By on Tue, May 3, 2011 at 11:57 AM

The 2011 Riverfront Times Music Showcase Reader's Poll is now open for voting. This year, all the voting will take place online, so this is it: Only you can ensure that the best bands win. We've also got a write-in option, in case you are one of the many, many people who feel an injustice has been done on the nominating end. We are obviously excited about this year's festivities; there is a tremendous amount of good music happening in St. Louis. The Showcase is on June 4th on Washington Avenue and the Awards are on June 21st at the Firebird.

The official voting rules (which you can also find on the ballot):

1. Check one choice per category or type your write-in choice. 2. One ballot per voter. Ballot stuffing can and will be detected. 3. Entries must be received no later than Saturday, June 4, 2011.

Winners will be announced in the RFT's June 23, 2011, issue and Tuesday, June 21, at the FREE RFT Music Awards Party at the Firebird.

In case you have not followed one of a couple links to the poll already:
