The Luminary's Post Performance Series is back for year two. The Performances are a joint venture between the Luminary and the Partnership for Downtown to create events featuring live music and sight-specific visual art in the Old Post Office Plaza. After last year's successful four-show run, the series is back this year, and two of the music lineups have just been announced: Oberhofer will headline the June 4th edition and High Places anchors the August 20th bill.

Last year, the four shows drew north of 1,000 attendees total. This year should see marked growth on that number with a wider scope of musical talent (Oberhofer is from New York and High Places is from LA) and a year's experience under the Luminary's belt. The rest of the two announced lineups and the other two dates:

Post Performance Series 2011 June 4th 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with Oberhofer and Palace July 9th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. TBA August 20th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with High Places, Ra Cailum and US English September 17th from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. TBA

And here's a video of Theodore performing at one of last year's Post Performances with an art instillation by BJ Vogt.
