Once again, here is every newly announced show this week! Two-tone ska band the English Beat will be playing Blueberry Hill on April 21; time to dig up your wingtip shoes and checkered suspenders and try to remember how to skank. Also on April 21st is the one year anniversary show for local South-side venue the Heavy Anchor; Bunnygrunt, Ravenhill and Black Bears will play and the show is free. California's Orgone will bring its '70s-era funk sound to the Old Rock House on May 29. Put the wingtips and suspenders back in the closet; grow an afro and wear something made of polyester. Sting and Willie Nelson are coming to town as well (seperately). I don't need to tell you how to dress for those shows; you already know: v-necks and too much hairspray for the former, braided pigtails and bloodshot eyes for the latter.
