LouFest Will Be September 7-8, 2013 In Forest Park

The dates of this year's LouFest have been announced! The beloved local event will be taking place in Forest Park again this year, over the weekend of September 7 and 8. Here's the announcement from LouFest's official website:

Hey St. Louis, we're officially back - in a big way! That's right, LouFest will be rocking Forest Park once again, but this year we'll see you September 7-8, and we'll be bringing a new weekend experience St. Louis has never seen. Sign up below for exclusive updates on the 2013 Lineup, ticket announcements, and more!

When they say "in a big way," they aren't kidding. Following last year's event the LouFest team announced that they would be partnering with C3 Presents this year, whom you may know as the organizers behind Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. From the article, by Kiernan Maletsky:

The marquee events currently put together by C3 -- Lollapalooza in Chicago and Austin City Limits -- are of course huge, long-established tent poles of the festival circuit. They are very different events from each other, and it's safe to say LouFest won't look too much like either one.
