Del Yeah! w/ The Del McCoury Band, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Honey Island Swamp Band, Head For the Hills, Whitewater Ramble, Henhouse Prowlers, Aaron Kamm & The One Drops, Old Salt Union, The Hatrick, Clusterpluck, Acoustics Anonymous, Elemental Shakedown @ Old Rock House 6:30 p.m. | $35-$65 The Folk School of St. Louis welcomes this music fest featuring two days (including Sunday, as well) of bluegrass, funk, folk and more. Cackling Hen w/ Falsetto Boy, Trauma Harness, Britches, Barely Free Partial Prisoners, Raglani, Little Big Bangs @ Plush 7 p.m. | $7 St. Louis artists bind together to help Eli LaChance, a friend who recently "lost a battle with gravity" and broke his pelvis. See some great music, for a good cause! (DH)

Kid Rock w/ ZZ Top, Uncle Kracker @ Verizon Wireless Ampitheater 7 p.m. | $67-$312 I wish that I could live a life wherein shirts are entirely optional. Don't hate Kid Rock; respect his game. (DH)

Nite Owl CD Release w/ DJ K'Nine @ Cicero's 9 p.m. | $10 2012's best hip-hop artist, who recently signed a deal with Monarchy Records, releases a new album - the CD is included in the door price. (MS)

Steel Magnolia w/ Jacob Powell, Hymn River Suite @ The Demo 7:30 p.m. | $15-$20 American country duo Steel Magnolia won season two of Can You Duet (it turns out, they totally can). Here they are on Letterman. (MS)

Also on Saturday, check on Grandchildren with the Eastern Sea. On Sunday, we recommend going to see Middle Class Fashion.
