Atlanta indie-rockers Manchester Orchestra will be performing at the Old Rock House this year as part of St. Louis' fifth annual Rock & Roll Marathon. The band will close out the festivities on the night of Sunday, October 18.

The Rock & Roll Marathon (which is actually a half-marathon, if we're being technical) marries live music with the act of running around outside a lot to create an off-kilter event that is pretty fun for people who are not fat and lazy. For the rest of us, though: Yes, you can purchase tickets to the show without having to break a sweat or exercise in any way. Point your Internet in this direction and pick the bottom option.

For those of you who do like to run: Why? Don't you get tired? No, but seriously, those interested in running in the race (for charity, no less!) should head to rungevity's official website for more information.

Manchester Orchestra will be joined by singer-songwriter Elle King, who will open the show. The event will benefit rungevity race team participants — runners who are sponsored by others to raise money for charities including Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK), Unlimited Play and Our Little Haven. The program is sponsored by the Quinn Family Foundation.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $50; VIP tickets cost $100 and include a drink wristband.
