First, it was infuriating, and then really, really sad.

If you're mourning the Cardinal's season-ending loss to the Cubs — the freaking Cubs! — you've at least got company. Redbird Nation drowned its sorrows in 140-character epitaphs after the game. We feel you out there, baseball fans. Wait 'til next year. Sad emoji.
