City employees could soon see St. Louis from the above perspective.
South St. Louis alderman Stephen Gregali (Ward 14) his pushing a bill that would require employees of the city to live in St. Louis for just the first seven years of their employment.

After that the workers could live within "10 miles of city limits" so long as it's on the Missouri side of the river. Gregali tells KMOX that he hopes the change would increase interest in working in -- and for -- the city.

"I think we really have to think outside the box here," said Gregali. "We have to make the city as palatable as possible to people that live outside the city to say this is a good place and come on in."
