Blaec Lammers told police he fantasized about killing people.

This is completely terrifying.

A man in southwest Missouri admitted to local police that he bought two assaults rifles and 400 rounds of ammunition with the intent to go on a shooting spree this weekend.

According to cops, Blaec Lammers, a 20-year-old resident of rural Bolivar, said that he identified with shooters he'd seen on the news and bought tickets to the premiere of 'Twilight' thinking he might follow in their footsteps.

According to the probable cause statement, Lammers' mother noticed that her son had purchased weapons similar to those used in James Holmes's Aurora rampage and became concerned that he might be planning a copycat shooting. She told police her son was "off of his medication."

Bolivar police brought Lammers in for questioning. According to them, he at first claimed the weapons -- which he purchased on Monday and Tuesday this week -- were for hunting. Lammers told the interviewer that he'd decided not to use them after all because he needed to take a class to go hunting. When the cop asked why he would buy guns knowing he wasn't going go, Lammers began to open up. From the probable cause statement:

Blaec Lammers and I then began talking about recent shootings that have been in the news. Blaec Lammers stated that he had a lot in common with the people that have been involved in those shootings. Blaec Lammers state that he was quiet, kind of a loner, had recently purchased firearms and didn't tell anybody about it, and had homicidal thoughts. Blaec Lammers further stated that he had purchased the firearms with the intentions of shooting up the movie theater in Bolivar.

The statement says Lammers bought tickets to a Sunday screening of 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2' thinking he would carry out an attack there. He changed his mind, apparently because he was worried that he would run out of ammo. He told cops that he moved his location to a Walmart.

Blaec Lammers stated he would walk into the store and just start shooting people at random and if he ran out of ammunition (he said he purchased 400 rounds) he would just break the glass where the ammunition is being stored and get some more and keep shooting until the police arrived. Blaec Lammers stated he would then turn himself into police when they arrived.

The statement also says that employees of Walmart called the cops on Lammer back in 2009, when he was following a worker around the store. He later admitted that he wanted to stab the employee.

In a statement, Bolivar police said they arrested Lammers and charged him for "making terrorist threat, armed criminal action and attempted 1st degree assault."
