Cammerain Davis: St. Louis Homicide No. 74; Found Dead in a Car

Police were called to the 4800 block of Kossuth in the Penrose neighborhood at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 1. They found a man in the driver's seat of a silver Chevy Malibu, dead of a single gunshot wound to the neck. Witnesses told investigators that they had heard gunshots earlier in the morning. The deceased was identified late Wednesday as Cammerain Davis, a 24-year-old black man who lived in Pine Lawn. No suspect or motive for the murder has been given. The investigation continues.
