The 3500 block of Vandeventer, where 38-year-old Charles Bryant was shot to death last night.
Two St. Louis men have been killed in separate shootings in north city -- one around 11:45 p.m. last night and a second around 1 a.m. this morning.
Both men were found in north city, both were shot multiple times, and both were shot in the head.
The first victim, Michael A. Berry, was found in the basement of a residence in the 1400 block of Walton, which is just southeast of Kingshighway and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Berry lives on the same block; witnesses reported overhearing an
argument with an unknown person. When the St. Louis Metropolitan Police
Department arrived, they found Berry dead with multiple gunshot wounds
to the head and back.
The second victim, Charles D. Bryant, 38, was of the 3900 block of Lexington. His body was found just a block from his home at the 3500 block of Vandeventer, near its intersection with Natural Bridge Road.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Bryant had been shot multiple times in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In both cases, the investigation is ongoing.
