Today's comment comes in response to a post about a declassified film from the 1950s in which the U.S. government imagines the
outcome of a nuclear war with the Soviet Union.

Chilling to think that "Success" would have meant that a hundred million
more Russians would have perished than our 60 million, but it would
have been a "success" because our military leadership would remain in
power. Hmmm, who really runs our country? Can't be the trillion dollar
military-industrial complex, can it!
