Damonte Simmons: St. Louis Homicide No. 15; Shot in South City

Damonte Simmons, a 20-year-old black man, was shot multiple times in the chest at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday while in the 400 block of Eichelberger Street (above). Simmons ran north one block to the 5300 block of Compton after being shot, where he collapsed and died.

Police have no suspects or motive for the murder at this time, but the investigation continues.
