Darien Hines, 18, found dead at Darby and Natural Bridge
Last evening at around 7:15, city cops say, they fielded a call about gunshots up in the Mark Twain I-70 Industrial neighborhood, near the city's border with Pine Lawn.

When officers arrived at the intersection of Darby Street and Natural Bridge Avenue (across from the Family Dollar store), they found a body on the sidewalk.

It turned out to be a young black male, 18-year-old Darien Hines, who lived only about five blocks away on the 3800 block of Philbrook.

A witness reportedly told police of having seen shots fired from a gray Cadillac, but that's about all they're telling the public at this time.

This all went down, by the way, within a short walk of the well-know Goody Goody Diner on Natural Bridge.

Investigation is ongoing, police say.
