Elsberry resident Donovan Scott Daller, nineteen, apparently thinks it's funny that cops have evidence he sexually abused three very young girls. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office announced yesterday that Daller is facing multiple rape and child molestation charges, and officials included this disturbing detail in the statement: "During the interview process with Daller, he laughed at detectives when questioned about the rape and denied the accusations."

Part of the explanation he offered, police say, is that he was intoxicated when he was caught abusing an eleven-year-old girl and didn't remember much.

His other victims were allegedly eight and twelve.

The sheriff's office says that in late June of 2013, police began investigating a sex offense against the eleven-year-old victim after someone reported seeing the girl naked with Daller.

This girl, police say, told investigators that he had attacked her while she slept and took her clothes off. She apparently alerted police to the two other victims.

Those additional victims were abused by Daller over a period of several years in an Elsberry home, police say.

One of them told cops he would offer her soda in exchange for letting him touch her butt.

The sheriff's office says:

The victims stated they would try to fight off Daller during his advances.

During the interview process with Daller, he laughed at detectives when questioned about the rape and denied the accusations. Daller told investigators he could not remember much from being intoxicated and was awoken by a flashlight to his face. There he discovered the 11 year-old victim naked by his feet.

He is facing felony charges of first-degree statutory rape, first-degree attempted statutory sodomy and three counts of first-degree child molestation.

He is currently behind bars in Lincoln County Jail with a $250,000 cash-only bond set.
