Entertainment Weeklyreports that Jason Reitman's film is the hit of the Toronto Film Festival and already there is talk of multiple Oscar nominations (for whatever that's worth). Film critic Owen Gleiberman writes, "Up in the Air is light and dark, hilarious and tragic, bouncy
and brainy, romantic and real. It's everything that Hollywood has
forgotten how to do, but we're blessed that Jason Reitman has
remembered it."
We would like to propose that Up in the Air's greatness has less to do with Reitman than with the heretofore untapped film magic in the city of St. Louis.
