Starting pitcher Kyle McClellan handed the Cardinals' bullpen a 2-1 lead headed into the eighth inning last night. Five pitchers later, the Cardinals finally escaped the top half of the eighth -- down by a score of 2-10 on five hits, four walks and two hit batsmen.

As you might imagine, the #stlcards hashtag on Twitter was on fire last night during the eighth inning, with hundreds of Cardinals fans voicing their frustration. Here, then, are my five favorite musings from last night...
