It's been a while since I've passed by the Maplewood United Church of Christ, so I was glad yesterday to see that Pastor Rick Meyer is still at it with his signs. Here's this week's placard:

God Loves Atheists, Church Sign Confirms

So, just to review. Per Meyer and his signs, God loves all of the following: homosexuals, immigrants, Muslims and Jews, the homeless, and people of various skin tones.

Note: Meyer may want to do a spell check on this week's message. Lord knows why, but the word "atheist" defies that old rule -- "I before E except after C."
