Yes, you can have a social club. No, you may not have a whorehouse.
The incorporation papers on file with the Secretary of State's Office says the home at 8885 Snowhill in Bel-Ridge is a charitable organization called "Yes We Can Social Club."

Investigators with the St. Louis County Police Department think it's something else entirely. They suspect the house could be a brothel. They recently raided the home, arresting some thirty people. No one has yet to charged with wrongdoing after Thursday's mass arrest, but police say they've been told that the home features naked dancers, illicit drug use and children mixing drinks.

Fox 2 broke the story on Tuesday and got an entertaining interview (below) with the proprietor, Carmen Simmons, who says that she was hosting a bachelorette party the night of the raid. Simmons admits she's yet to give any money to charity, but that's only because she just opened up her doors to business in January.
