Are there plans in the works to make something similar to the High Line in our fair city?
The High Line is a public park built atop an abandoned elevated rail line on Manhattan's West Side. It runs nearly fourteen blocks through the city, converting an eyesore into a useful and attractive linear park with much greenery, flowers, viewing stations, benches and a walking path.
